ASE Annual Meeting 2008 Workshop

David Garlovsky will be conducting a workshop at the Association for Science Education Annual Meeting at Liverpool University. The workshop will demonstrate the applicability of renewable energy and sustainability topics/activities in achieving National Curriculum Science and Design & Technology outcomes at primary and secondary levels.

SOLAR-ACTIVE.COM - has successfully developed an education method and resources making learning enjoyable - focusing on gaining knowledge, teamwork and enterprise skills through real life application of scientific and mathematical concepts. Encouraging careers in engineering. Proven useful with the hard-to-reach and fits into concept of V-A-K Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic leaning. Experience our inter-active renewable and energy efficiency resources & demonstrations, carbon-footprint and energy home & school surveys. Fee includes £40 of resources:- solar car/boat kit, schemes of work, curriculum schedules and access to teaching resources via web and worksheets.

Build a solar model car and transform into a solar boat. NEW REMOTE CONTROL SOLAR BOAT and solar water heating kits. Build up self-confidence through an investigative and hands-on approach to achieve outcomes in Science/Physics, ICT, Sustainable Development and D&T.
